Translation of Kathāvatthuppakaraṇa-aṭṭhakathā

Translation of the Commentary on the Kathāvatthu (Kathāvatthuppakaraṇa-aṭṭhakathā), traditionally attributed to Buddhaghosa (5th century CE), but likely the work of another contemporary monk; part of the Pañcappakaraṇa-aṭṭhakathā or ‘Commentary on five works [of Abhidhamma]’. This short but informative commentary is an important source for the internal doctrinal debates that informed the development of Indian Buddhist thought.
