Description
The first book of the Khuddaka-nikāya of the Sutta-piṭaka, but probably the latest to be included in the collection.
It consists of nine short texts, only one of which is not found elsewhere in the canon. It was possibly compiled as a handbook for novices. The commentary is traditionally attributed to Buddhaghosa. (5th century C.E.)
Translation of Khuddakapāṭha with Commentary.
An earlier translation of the Khuddakapāṭha is found in Minor Anthologies, Vol. I.
